Introduction

At Tonnta, we believe that your health data is personal and private. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Simply put: we don't collect it, we don't store it elsewhere, and we don't share it.

Our app is designed from the ground up to be privacy-first. All your episode data, triggers, medications, and notes are stored locally on your iOS device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

What Data We Collect

Tonnta stores the following information locally on your device when you log episodes:

Episode Information

Date, start time, end time, and duration of AFib episodes

Intensity Level

Your self-rated severity: Mild, Moderate, or Severe

Triggers and Resolutions

Factors you associate with episodes (caffeine, stress, alcohol, etc.)

Medications

Medications taken during or after episodes

Notes

Free-text observations about symptoms or experiences

Custom Settings

Your personalized triggers and medication lists

Crash Logs (Optional)

We do not use third-party crash reporting or analytics services (such as Firebase or Sentry). We only receive anonymized crash reports and basic usage statistics provided by Apple through App Store Connect if you have opted-in to share that information with developers in your iOS settings

If you choose to support the App through a "Pay What You Want" purchase:

Third-Party Services

Tonnta does not use any third-party services that access your data. This includes:

The only third-party involvement is:

HealthKit Integration

Currently, Tonnta does not integrate with Apple HealthKit. All data is stored within the app using standard iOS libraries. In the future, if we add HealthKit integration:

Children's Privacy

Tonnta is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Data Retention & Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered unless you have a backup CSV export.

Business Transfer

If the App is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data (which remains local to your device or iCloud) remains subject to this policy.
